This will give you tons of content and you could even tell them that you are going to use that info to show them off as the lead dog in their niche.

Another thing you could do is contact business owners in that niche and tell them that you are wanting to work with one company in that niche to do a market domination. You can let them know that you have done the research on their top 3 competitors and you know how they could easily overtake them for the number 1 spot for particular keyword. Also make this an exclusive offer and only one company in that niche will get to work you.
